Feed Pellet Machine

The pellet mill is the centre of a feed line, and its die diameter, motor power and conditioner decide what the line actually produces. Poultry and livestock mills run 90–560 kW main motors with dies from 450 mm to 1,350 mm; aqua and shrimp feed need finer dies, longer conditioning and higher durability.

High-fibre formulas such as distiller’s grains need a double-shaft design, deeper dies and more steam to reach a stable pellet. Retention time, steam quality and die compression matter more than nominal tonnage.
